A Southern Indiana woman’s weight loss journey has been so successful, she’s featured in a national Weight Watchers‘ television commercial.
Rachel Wallace was chosen for the campaign after Weight Watchers took notice of her inspiring Instagram account @rachelshealthyplate.
Wallace said she started the social media page a year ago to track her meals and hold herself accountable.
“I’ve always liked taking photos of my food so it was the perfect outlet for me,” Wallace said. “Over time I made a lot of connections with other members in the online community and found a wonderful support system.”
She chose the Weight Watchers program because she said it is easy to follow, no foods are off limits and it seemed like the best option for her long term success. So far, she’s lost more than 50 pounds.
Weight Watchers’ national commercial featuring Wallace and others with personal weight loss success stories premieres Sunday, April 23.
