Scientists added that keeping up bad habits was likely to have a highly detrimental effect over the years.
“Over decades, the total effect would be very important,” they wrote.
Scientists did recommend eating breakfast and lunch and avoiding dinner for weight loss.
Hana Kahleova, MD, PhD, said that snacks should be avoided and breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day.
Fasting for 18 hours over the night time was also preferable for weight loss.
The paper proves “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper” is an effective weight loss strategy.
