Even if you hate exercise and diets you can get to a healthy weight and keep it there.  

We know that there are gazillions of books, articles, weight loss programs and promises out there.  

From the banana diet to that one piece of miracle (and expensive) exercise equipment  — all that information can make the idea of even starting a weight loss program intimidating. But it certainly doesn’t have to be that way. 

A healthy weight involves reducing fat and gaining muscle. To do that you can start with just two small changes — reducing calories and increasing physical activity — and once you master those, you can move onto the more complicated routines and diets if you feel it will help.
