LONDON–Georgia Healthcare Group PLC (GHG.LN) reported Wednesday a trebled pretax profit for the fourth quarter of 2016 thanks to organic growth and acquisitions and said it is on track to more than double its 2015 healthcare services revenue by 2018.
The hospitals owner and operator made a pretax profit of 13 million Georgia lari ($4.8 million) in the three months to Dec. 31, more than the GEL5.1 million it made in the corresponding period a year ago, after revenue increased to GEL136 million from GEL69.7 million.
Healthcare services revenue rose 27 % year-on-year in 2016.
