CEDARVILLE, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – Cedarville University is launching a new MBA program for students interested in healthcare management.
The healthcare industry is an ever-changing field, and there are tons of jobs out there in the field, so Cedarville wanted to take advantage of that by offering a healthcare administration program.
The program will begin in August, and the university said it will have made sure graduate students are equipped for leadership roles in hospitals, nursing homes, urgent cares and assisted living facilities.
“It’s really an important concentration for us to officer given the expanding role of healthcare in our economy,” Dean of Business Administration Jeff Haymond said, “and even in the Dayton region.”
Students following the track for that specific MBA will have to take 12 classes online, and can complete the program in as little as a year.
